Holly Golightly,
lives in a brownstone on Manhattan's swank East Side. Totally madcap, she has a partially furnished apartment, owns a cat with no name, gets rid of the "mean reds" by visiting Tiffany's jewelry store, and is forever misplacing her door key.

Paul Varjak,
a young writer who is supported by an older woman nicknamed "2E".

A love story between them.
Beautiful, charming, engaging and more than a touch of eccentric.

Paul Varjak: I love you.
Holly Golightly: So what.

Paul Varjak: So what? So plenty! I love you.
You belong to me!

Holly Golightly: [tearfully] No. People don't belong to people.

Paul Varjak: Of course they do!

Holly Golightly: I'll never let anybody put me in a cage.

Paul Varjak: I don't want to put you in a cage,
I want to love you!

I believe I have this movie and have YET to watch it. My favorite movie by Audrey Hepburn would have to be "Funny Face" with Fred Astaire.

Yea April, somehow love could be a cage if you execute it the wrong way or have it with the wrong person :p

Then you should Noelle deary, I think you'll love it as much as "Funny Man". For me personally, it's a beautiful movie :)

Can't agree more, Sasha. I'm a big Audrey fan!

Wow, Nani! That's a great career step. Wish you all the luck in the world darling!

I was greatly looking forward to watching the film , and it truly is a great, but it's a frustrating reminder as to what malleable saps we boys are and what terribly indecisive creatures you girls are. We'll do everything for love and you'll never, really give us an answer we can rely on. But there you are and on goes the world. R x
