Love me till my heart stops,

And you will find no fear here,
in unkind words or the hardness of others.

And you will find no sadness here,
in the meanness of the world,
in the anger that comes from those who feel small.

And you will find no hurt here,
in a million insults or
in a single, softly spoken lie.

Because only a hard heart shatters.
Only a hard heart, breaks.

I'm with you because, despite everything,
I still love you.

And while you might walk in and find me punching a wall,
it's only because I want to kiss your lips.

There's no revenge here.

Love doesn't hate back.
I will not relent.
I will reach you.
And I will continue to love you no matter what.

# Shrek Forever After

After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws' kingdom, what's an ogre to do? Well, if you're Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks.

What's happened to this ogre's roar? Longing for the days when he felt like a "real ogre," Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it's up to Shrek to undo all he's done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.

The final chapter of Shrek series: Shrek Forever After is in theaters 21 May! Let's all have an awesome time enjoying the movie before bidding farewell to our dearest ogre...

Home.

When I'm by your side,
The whole world just fades away
The only thing I could hear is the beating of your heart.

I suppose, I'M HOME.

Love in the Afternoon

You dont complete me.
You're not my happiness in a bottle.

You're just a contributing factor...
but in a crazy out of this world harry potter kind of way,
that's what makes you so wonderful.

And this feeling,
Its not of happiness, or of sadness.
Its not of anger or spite.
Its just like I'm floating through time and space.

And I don't have to be anyone, or think anything.
And it's kind of lovely.

Watch Out! It's Coming...

my favorite sporting event of the year!

The 2010 French Open or known as Roland Garros tennis tournament is finally opened. The tournament is running from May 23 to June 6, 2010; taking place at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France.

It's Day Three already - Tuesday 25th May
The third day of the 2010 French Open sees 'King of Clay', Rafael Nadal, make his first appearance at the tournament! (The show I've waiting to watch since last year unfortunate lost of his throne to Federrer. Crossing finger this year it'd be the other way around.)

From Hong Kong...

with even more passion for fashion.
Will be back to blogging, very very soon.
Promise! xoxo

Wednesday 19 May 2010

I desperately want to post...

But I'm kinda tied up:
Cramped in the absurdly crowded Hong Kong's MTR.
I don't think I'll be able to get anywhere near a computer till Sunday.
Please miss me!

# To Wintour Wanna-Be's

Anna Wintour is so renowned in the world of fashion—and, for that matter, in the world at large—that she scarcely needs an introduction. In the 21 years that she has been the editor in chief of American Vogue, Wintour has kept the magazine firmly at the forefront of fashion, matched numerous young designers with venerable brands in need of fresh expertise, and engineered and overseen the launches of Teen Vogue and Men's Vogue.

"Fashion reflects the times just as much as a headline in a newspaper does," she says. "If you look at the miniskirts of the sixties or the Chanel suits and jewelry of the eighties, you can see that. Vogue informs the reader about what's going on in the world, not only through fashion but also through politics, the arts, philanthropy, and sports. Fashion does not exist in a vacuum."

What advice do you have for a young person who is interested in fashion design?

Don't go too fast. Because of reality television and all these celebrities thinking they can be designers, everyone imagines that they can just become a designer, photographer, or model, but that's not the way things work. People have to go to school, learn their craft, and build a brand—that's the right, healthy way to do things.

If you're an overnight sensation, you can be yesterday's news in no time, whereas building something slowly and carefully that has value and quality, that's what's going to have legs. You'd be amazed at how many people come in here, and they make perfectly nice clothes, but they don't understand how to differentiate their brand from another, or they don't have a business plan, or they don't know where to produce things.

Don't run before you can crawl. It's a very hard business, full of many, many extremely creative, talented people who work hard and still fail. If you have the basic building blocks behind you, you're much more likely to do well.

Moschino's Perfect Spring Day

“Fashion is full of chic” was among the slogans spray-painted on big canvas totes at Cheap and Chic, a sure sign that Rossella Jardini’s second line is in touch with its funny bone — and keen sense of irony.

Through a heart-shaped portal, in fact, came plenty of chic, with a distinct Spanish accent: cha-cha dresses in daisy-print jersey cultivated into rich rows of ruffles, or a simple black widow’s gown perked up by eyelet lace, puffy shoulders and slippers blooming with fuchsia carnations.

Keeping with the youthquake theme, hemlines were either ultrashort or grazed the models' satin flats. And the other accessories were just as cheeky. In addition to the aforementioned tote, there was a bag in hot pink with "Shocking" scribbled across it, and a nameplate necklace to match.

When it comes to having escapism on the brain, Jardini has plenty of company so far this young fashion week in Milan. The collection is all looked cute, young and fun — just shy of silly.

Mama, thanks to you...

Song Title Thanks to You
Singer Richard Marx
Songwriter Richard Marx
Album Richard Marx, Greatest Hits

You gave me life, gave me your heart,
your shoulder when I needed to cry.
You gave me hope when all my hope is gone,
wings so my dreams can fly.
And I haven't told you enough,
haven't been good enough, making you see...

My love for you will live in my heart until eternity's through.
I see your smile in the eyes of my child.
I am who I am, Mama, thanks to you.

You gave me your word, gave me your voice
gave me your everything, each breath of your life.
You believe when I can't remember how.
You teach my faith to survive.
And I never can do enough,
never thank you enough, for all that you are.

I know the treasure, I'm filled with grace,
whenever I see your face.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom.
I love you!

~ Burberry's Visual Effect

"I've been liking things where you can't quite understand what you're looking at," said Christopher Bailey, searching for words to describe the blurry visual effect of a soft, puffy-edged, bark-textured trench over a short gauze draped dress.

Elsewhere, what appeared at first glance to be a fluffy pale jacket of tufted tulle turned out to be made of leather, minutely shaved with razors to give an "eyelash"-fine 3-D texture.

The intense level of in-house research and fabric innovation is worn lightly, creating a raft of effects here that Bailey described with adjectives like "cloudy," "seductive," and "relaxed."

The result: a lightened-up, youthful lineup of pragmatic day-to-day separates—like puffy-shouldered knits with a knot in the sleeve and pleated pants with rolled cuffs—that pays attention to delivering specialness while deflating any sense of showy luxe.

Yes, I'm Back and Blogging

And FYI,
I'm back for good!
OK, so I OOB -Out of Blogging, longer than I expected. Apologies, but the whole refurnishing process turned out to take forever, and the fact that I was working on another project means I didn't have forever to waste. Plus, I did take a little advantage of this combination to take a naughty break :p

Anyhow, I can't tell you how I've missed all my blogging fellows so much and how good it feels to be able to write in my blog again. I have about 1000 posts queued up in my brain now! This post really is just a way of breaking the silence. A way to get back into the flow. Stay tune!
