Please give me an answer...

So, my dear friend... Please tell me....
Which one are we?

temporary
wrong time
too late
FOREVER

Cross the answer you like.

*New Moon

The phenomenal success of Stephenie Meyer’s teen-vampire book series has Hollywood salivating over what could be the biggest film franchise since Harry Potter.

Yes, apparently we’ve been bitten! By the Twilight bug, that is. VF.com went back to photographer Peggy Sirota and asked for nine more images from the shoot, at California’s Ventura Farms. Feast your eyes!

Burberry Prorsum, S2010

Collection: Burberry Prorsum - Womenswear
Season: Spring Summer 2010
Designer: Christopher Bailey
Website: www.burberry.com

Closing this years Spring Summer London Fashion Week was Burberry Prorsum's Womenswear Collection titled "Twisted Classic".

Creative director Christopher Bailey literary gave a new twist to the statement shoulder trend and scrunched skirts. Genially constructed materials, new domination of the trench, made fashion history happen before our eyes.

The message was Burberry gone short, draped, deluxe, and glamorous, and aimed at the very young. For sure the collection will dominate editorial pages for seasons to come.

Remember

Many times in life,
We forget the things we should remember,
And remember the things we should forget...

If you remember, just remember,
Sometimes there's beauty where you least expect it.

Why are We not Together?

My dear sweetheart,
What a terrible and awful thing absence is!
I tell myself that half of my existence and happiness is in you;
that for all the distance that divides us,
our hearts are united by indissoluble bonds.

Yet my own rebels against destiny,
and in spite of the pleasures and distractions that surround me,
I cannot overcome a certain secret sadness,
which I have sensed at the bottom of my heart ever since our separation.

Why are we not together as we were last summer?

I'm Tired...

I don't want to ride the wind anymore,
I'm tired.

I don't want it to just take me anywhere it wants me to be,
I've already tried that and I'm tired.

I want to be able to feel the warm sand under my feet.
Feel the sun's heat against my skin.
I want to feel the earth,
stand on it, run on it again.

I've been floating aimlessly for quite awhile now,
and I'm tired.

I want to be grounded again...
I'm tired.

Thinking of You

Comparisons are easily done once you've had a taste of perfection.
Like an apple hanging from a tree, I picked the ripest one.
I still got the seed.

You said move on. Where do I go?
I guess second best is all I will know.
Cause when I'm with him,
I am thinking of you.
Thinking of you.

What you would do
if you were the one who was spending the night?
Oh, I wish that I was looking into your eyes

You're like an Indian summer in the middle of winter.
Like a hard candy with a surprise center.
How do I get better once I've had the best?
You said there's tons of fish in the water.
So the waters I will test.

He kissed my lips, I taste your mouth.
He pulled me in, I was disgusted with myself.

You're the best. And yes I do regret.
How I could let myself let you go?
Now the lesson's learned.
I touched it I was burned.
Oh, I think you should know.

Oh, won't you walk through
and bust in the door
and take me away.
Oh, no more mistakes,
cause in your eyes I'd like to stay...

Is It Time to Take a Nap?

Sometimes the best thing you can do is just go take a nap. That's because when you're physically down, it's hard to be emotionally and spiritually up. Simple logic?

"Fatigue makes cowards of us all."
It's amazing how much better things look when you're rested. If you're discouraged right now, it might not mean you have to make a change; it may simply be that you need some rest.

Farmers know that soil needs rest, so they rotate their crops and systematically leave a portion of their land fallow. They do this because land that has rested produces a greater harvest.

A good night's sleep makes a big difference. And even a quick nap can help you see things clearly.

{Easy Luxe}

As seen at Chloe, MaxMara and Stella McCartney, go for Easy Luxe. It's a breezy and relaxed everyday-look style!

KeY piEceS:
Definitely a coat or an oversized jacket. Camel is a huge trend, but you could opt for taupe, grey or navy. All of these colors will look fresher than black.

AcCeSoRiEs:
Start with a great handbag -anything equestrian detailing is good, or with a shoulder strap you can sling over your body. Also go for boots in a neutral color.

StyLe:
The key is not to look too "done". It's all about looking unstyled and expensive, but in a cool way -Chloe Sevigny meets Hermes is a good starting point.

Best fashion advice for 2010:
"Mix it up and don't look like you're trying too hard!"

31, rue Cambon

More than understanding the iconography of Chanel, a house that first opened its doors at 31, rue Cambon in 1921, Karl knows what the name means in the history of Paris. Unlike many other houses that have disappeared behind corporate facades or disappeared altogether, Chanel still sits like a white-gloved lady on the Rue Cambon.

Probably to a great many young tourists who come to take pictures of its famous entrance and the Cassandre-designed logo, the Rue Cambon is Chanel.

Passing...

Living...
Breathing...
No real sense of place, no real sense of time.
It is simply not about "the moment".
It is about the passing.

What day is?
What is supposed to be?
Elapsing surreality...

What Do You Think?

I've just been opening up
about all the questions and pains I have in my heart to a friend.
It might have the possibility to ruin our relationship forever.
But somehow I feel truly serene...

I have no regret at all.
It's something I've got to do.

Vivienne's Digital Clutch

This mini notebook designed by noted fashion designer Vivienne Tam for HP is called the world's first digital clutch.

It comes in this beautiful red and purple peony design. The keyboard letters are done in gold; the enter key is the Chinese symbol for double happiness.

It comes with its own embroidered Vivienne Tam sleeve to protect the outside while you carry it like a clutch. This chic little laptop has looks and brains, with Tam's stunning design on the outside and HP technology on the inside.

At $700, it is a great idea for the woman who is passionate about fashion and technology. It was even unveiled at Tam's fashion show during New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park.

Freedom of the 1920s

"Fashion should empower you as much as it dresses you
-it should make you a femme fatale one moment and a romantic the next.
Fashion is there to transport you -it's escapist and seductive"
-John Galliano

The 1920s was the decade in which fashion entered the modern era. It was the decade in which women first liberated themselves from constricting fashions and began to wear more comfortable clothes (such as short skirts or pants).

Social customs and morals were relaxed in the optimism brought on by the end of the war and the booming of the stock market. New music and new dances came on the scene. American women won the right to vote in 1920 and were entering the workforce in record numbers. The women's rights movement had a strong effect on women's fashions.

Most importantly, the confining corset was discarded, as undergarments changed to suit the new fashions in this decade. Instead of drawers and knickers women were now able to wear panties which were more comfortable. The chemise or camisole was employed in place of the corset. During the early part of the decade, chemises paired with bloomers kept a woman covered beneath her outer garments.

For the first time in centuries, women's legs were seen with hemlines rising to the knee and dresses becoming more fitted. A more masculine look became popular, including flattened breasts and hips, short hairstyles known as the bob cut.

A love story between them.
Beautiful, charming, engaging and more than a touch of eccentric.

Paul Varjak: I love you.

Paul Varjak: So what? So plenty! I love you.
You belong to me!

Holly Golightly: [tearfully] No. People don't belong to people.

Paul Varjak: Of course they do!

Holly Golightly: I'll never let anybody put me in a cage.

Paul Varjak: I don't want to put you in a cage,
I want to love you!
