Sarkozy and Bruni put l’amour in glamour when they married, in 2008. The sharply handsome (if short of stature) president of France divorced his second wife and quickly became involved with Bruni, a singer and former model whose iconic beauty has been beheld by the likes of Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, and countless other famous men.
But Bruni, a multi-lingual Italian heiress, proved she would not become a joke in politics, stepping right into the fray by embracing causes for education and aids (teaming up with Michelle Obama on the latter).
Yet, one time or another,
Even the most perfect composure cracks.
{"The only time I see Carla's perfect confidence crack a little,
is when I ask her about all the comparisons made
between her and Sarkozy's previous wife."
-quoted from her Vanity Fair interview}

Hi Fe,
They do seem to make a good couple and yes, I do not think I would want the comparison to be made of his previous wife.
I enjoyed your post and photo.

I so agree with les jeune fille a oiseaux on being compared with one's former wife, howver, I think she's a smart woman;-)
She is very elegant.
Well, I can't really say that my life's AMAZING. But it's been quite good :) Thanks for asking, dear Chantelle...
