Gucci, Flora Fragrance

From the heart of Gucci storied legacy comes Flora, a brand new fragrance for the season. Rooted in the glamorous past of the fashion house, yet exudes modernity of the moment.

The inspiration of the scent originates from an iconic design of a silk scarf designed for Princess Grace of Monaco in 1966; thence rediscovered by Gucci current Creative Director Frida Giannini. Thus well said, Flora has proven to possess a timeless allure.

Composed of Rose and Osmanthus flowers -rare and delicate blooms of China origin; the combination of the two powerful scent reaches a perfect accord. The light, fruity quality of Rose counterbalanced by the velvety, leathery aspects of the Osmanthus. As a top notes, fresh citrus and peony are used; imparting sexiness and youthfullness.

The tension between each of these elements creates a superb equilibrium: resulting in a sensual and sophisticated, yet young and playful, fragrance.
An unconventional signature!

Thanks a lot, Tinee. What a compliment. Yours is sweet as well. So many great fashion photos of yourself. Such an inspiration for me. "Please excuse me if one day (soon), I might "steal" one of them and repost it in my blog. He3... They're simply irresistable!"
