I'm Back...

with lots and lots of changes.
inside, out.

Change is good.
Change is interesting.
Change is an excellent measurement of growth.

Triumph over evil.
Personal decisions to not be affected.
Locking a closed door.

Choosing to.
Being all you can be.

Moving ever forward.
Asking... receiving.

I'm not gonna connect all the dots... I'm just throwing it out to you.
Catch what fits.

Enjoy the show.
Do your dance.
Enjoy your life.

Go Green!

Do you know that our seemingly-harmless blogging activity is producing a yearly carbon dioxide emissions of 3,6kg (8lb)?

That's scientifically proven
according to a study by Alexander Wissner-Gross, PhD, physicist at Harvard University and environmental activist.
This can mainly be tracked back to the immense energy usage from (mainframe) computers, servers, and their cooling systems.

What Can We Do: 1 blog, 1 tree
The atmosphere can be relieved by an average of 5kg (11lb.) carbon dioxide every year by planting one tree. An average blog causes 3.6kg (8lb.) of carbon dioxide emissions. Consequently, a tree neutralises the carbon dioxide emissions of a blog. Since a tree lives for an average of 50 years, carbon dioxide emissions of your blog can be completely neutralised for this time period.

Please join the "My Blog is Carbon Neutral" initiatives. It's such a worthy cause. Just a few easy steps to make it green:

1. Write a blog post about the initiative + insert your favourite button
2. E-mail the link to your post to CO2-neutral@kaufda.de
3. We plant a tree for your blog in Plumas’!

Just so you know...

I love talking to you
before I go to bed
because then
I fall asleep with a smile.

You said "Sweet Dreams" and I suddenly smiled.

~ I Heart Blanco

Yuhuuu! Blanco’s Pre-Spring lookbook has arrived.

It is at times boho-chic/western, at times safari-driven, other times nautical. All of the pieces are perfect for mixing and matching, which is definitely an attractive factor. And... I've got to mention the X-factor Marloes Horst, the favorite-face of the moment, pulls off each ensemble effortlessly.

Once again a splendid visual feast! For full collection, just take a peek here Blanco.com

Hollywood’s bored and beautiful blonde has become an icon for a generation, but this year it’s all about reinvention.

That's when I love you...

When you have to look away,
when you don't have much to say,
That's when I love you.
I love you just that way.

To hear you stumble when you speak,
or see you walk with two left feet
That's when I love you.
I love you endlessly.

And when your mad cause you lost a game,
forget I'm waiting in the rain.
Baby, I love you.
I love you anyway.

Heres my promise made tonight:
You can count on me for life
Thats when I love you,
when nothing you do can change my mind.

The more I learn, The more I love
The more my heart cant get enough
That's when I love you, no matter what.

So when you turn to hide your eyes,
cause the movie it made you cry.
That's when I love you.
I love you a little more each time.

And when you can't quite match your clothes,
or when you laugh at your own jokes.
That's when I love you.
I love you, more than you'll know.

And when you forget that we had a date,
or that look that you get when you show up late
Baby, I love you.
I love you anyway.

That's when I love you,
when nothing you do can change my mind.
The more I learn, the more I love,
the more my heart can't get enough.
That's when I love you,
no matter what.

Robot Meets Girl

A heart doesn't break,
by chance or change.
it happens by choice and decisions

and there is no sad songs,
or a have-to's ,
that makes you revelate in your doings
there's just silence,
and two ways to go.

and I just managed to pick the wrong one.

that my friends, is how a heart breaks.

I promise you, I'll make a smarter choice next time...
Like this one, maybe?

I just love stealing her writing. Sorry, can't help it dearie.)

*My Blueberry Nights

Jeremy
It's like these pies and cakes. At the end of every night, the cheesecake and the apple pie are always completely gone. The peach cobbler and the chocolate mousse cake are nearly finished... but there's always a whole blueberry pie left untouched.

Elizabeth
So what's wrong with the blueberry pie?

Jeremy
There's nothing wrong with the blueberry pie. Just... people make other choices. You can't blame the blueberry pie, just... no one wants it.

A peek at the movie
What is the distance between heartbreak and a new beginning?
How is it measured? By time, space or memory?

Elizabeth, a disenchanted young woman, embarks on a soul searching journey to distance herself from a broken heart. As emotional wounds began to fade, her experiences with disconnected strangers lead to a new and unexpected chapters of her life.
From the poetic musings of a late night cafe owner (Jude Law), to the desperate prepositions of a down-on-her-luck gambler (Natalie Portman), to the broken bond between a troubled cop (David Strathairn) and his rebellious wife (Rachel Weisz); these individuals redefine Elizabeth's perspectives on life, relationship and ultimately her own identity.

Slowly, Elizabeth begins letting go of the past and as she discovers a new path for herself -one towards true love.

Like Blueberry, this movie sweet, sour, bitter but also moist. In my own way, I enjoyed the movie despite the slow plots and gloomy color contrast.

Coco Mademoiselle

Coco Mademoiselle is a women's perfume in the Chanel collection that was introduced in 2001 for the younger Chanel fans. The fragrance was created by Jacques Polge, the nose of Chanel since 1978.

Spokesmodels
Famous spokesmodels for the fragrance have included Belgian model Anouck Lepere, Kate Moss, Nicole Kidman, and Keira Knightley (current). In 2008 various gossip websites and tabloids reported a rumor that actress Emma Watson was to replace Knightly for a three million pound contract; however, Chanel representatives clarified in a statement that the rumour was false.

Under Her Spell

Nearer and nearer moved this sun (as he saw her),
radiating its gentle, majestic light on every side,
until he felt himself enfolded in that radiance...

And heard that voice -so caressing, serene and yet so simple.
A deathly silence fell, which he sensed as right and proper.
Through it came the sound of her sweet voice.

Her face was even finer than ever before.
It glowed with a girlish delight and youthful innocence
of a giddy fourteen-year-old.

Glancing casually, her eyes met his,
and lingered there for not more than two seconds.
Whether or not she could tell what was happening at the depths of his soul, (and he was almost sure that she could),
She did stare into his face for two solid seconds,
with her hazel eyes emitting a soft and gentle radiance.

That was how he fell under her spell.
That was how she stole his heart.

Ghosts from the Past

A friend once told me this:
In order to get better in life, you have to let go of the ghost in the past.
You may think that the ghost is the best for you so far,
but you know yourself that you deserve to acquire a better one...

So,
Whatever life takes away from you, let it go.
When you surrender and let go of the past, you allow yourself to be fully alive in the moment.
Letting go of the past means you can enjoy the dream that is happening right now.

{Boyfriend's jacket}

...is a spring must-have

Maje's light gray tweed boyfriend blazer is an oversized coverup that will add edge to all of your basics. Combine this masculine shape with these cool pieces below for a modern take on tailoring:

Invest in some cropped denim for the new season with Current/Elliott's dark blue skinny jeans with ankle zips. Balance your silhouette by teaming this lightweight spray-on style with a louche shirt.

Make wardrobe worries a thing of the past with sweet basics like Sonia by Sonia Rykiel's oversized white bow-embellished cotton T-shirt. Contrast the blush silk trim with distressed denim for new-season style.

Stay well heeled in Pedro Garcia's black satin pumps. Heel height measures approximately 110mm / 4.5 inches.

Last but not least, Juicy Couture's lipstick red patent-leather clutch with pewter-tone studs is perfect for adding a splash of color to a muted palette. Carry it to brighten your look and to make your nautical outfit pop!

Voila, you're ready to rock girl!

You Left Me Feeling...

Like a turning head
Like a second look
Like a burning leaf of an open book
Like a pounding sea
Like a messy crime
When your eyes first met with mine

Like a broken word
Like a tragic smile
Like a thousand steps or a single mile
Like a lonely chance
Like a savage glow
When you turned and said hello

I was just about to call
There were flowers on the ceiling
You left me feeling...

Like a fading voice
Like a closing door
Like a dozen lies and a dozen more
Like a twisted tongue
Like a distant bike
When we broke out into the dark

The stars looked like burning sparks
The lights were warm but chilling
You left me feeling...
Tired, could not close my eyes
On fire, but frozen inside
To run or to hide
Speechless, my words could not melt
Whisper, I wanted to shout
Without you I felt...

Like a fleeting thought
Like a double eight
Like a gentle fear of a warming taste
Like a placid breath
Like a cooling blow
When you stopped and held me close

Inside I nearly froze
Your touch is almost healing
You left me feeling
Tired, could not close my eyes
On fire, but frozen inside
To run or to hide
Speechless, my words could not melt
Whisper, I wanted to shout
Without you I felt...

Like a setting sun
Like a last goodbye

Like an incomplete lullaby

Behind these hazel eyes...

"She is an essence, a way of being, a mindset -and she exists in us all.
She is that part of us that is free - and not bound up by the joyless strings of Puritan morality of guilt.
She's that part of us that has a sense of continuity in life, that doesn't rush, that feels sexy for no apparent reason.
She is, more fundamentally, that part of us that does not want to live according to what others think she should be.
She is her own woman.
Entirely."

The Clouds Move Slowly

You close your eyes when you cry.
That's ok.

Just don't keep them closed too long.
Things have become beautiful since you last looked.
There's nothing more to cry about.
Happiness is back!
