Do you know that our seemingly-harmless blogging activity is producing a yearly carbon dioxide emissions of 3,6kg (8lb)?

That's scientifically proven

according to a study by Alexander Wissner-Gross, PhD, physicist at Harvard University and environmental activist.

This can mainly be tracked back to the immense energy usage from (mainframe) computers, servers, and their cooling systems.

What Can We Do: 1 blog, 1 tree

The atmosphere can be relieved by an average of 5kg (11lb.) carbon dioxide every year by planting one tree. An average blog causes 3.6kg (8lb.) of carbon dioxide emissions. Consequently, a tree neutralises the carbon dioxide emissions of a blog. Since a tree lives for an average of 50 years, carbon dioxide emissions of your blog can be completely neutralised for this time period.

It's like these pies and cakes. At the end of every night, the cheesecake and the apple pie are always completely gone. The peach cobbler and the chocolate mousse cake are nearly finished... but there's always a whole blueberry pie left untouched.

What is the distance between heartbreak and a new beginning?

Elizabeth, a disenchanted young woman, embarks on a soul searching journey to distance herself from a broken heart. As emotional wounds began to fade, her experiences with disconnected strangers lead to a new and unexpected chapters of her life.

From the poetic musings of a late night cafe owner (Jude Law), to the desperate prepositions of a down-on-her-luck gambler (Natalie Portman), to the broken bond between a troubled cop (David Strathairn) and his rebellious wife (Rachel Weisz); these individuals redefine Elizabeth's perspectives on life, relationship and ultimately her own identity.

Like Blueberry, this movie sweet, sour, bitter but also moist. In my own way, I enjoyed the movie despite the slow plots and gloomy color contrast.
